Meet Our Family

Sifu Lou DiLoreto

With over 35 years of martial arts experience, I've trained extensively under masters like Hang Sik Shin in Hapkido and Tong In Chang in Tang Soo Doo. At South Jersey Kung Fu, I spent 9 years learning Shaolin Animals, Modified Wing Chun, and Tai Chi under Sifu Ron Wilson. I also trained for 2 years in Yang Style Tai Chi under Dr. Lin Cai Ping and dedicated 11 years to Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu and qigong sets with Master Sifu Keith Mazza. As Owner and Chief Instructor of the Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu & Tai Chi Center for 10 years, I'm committed to passing on my expertise and passion for martial arts to my students.

Sifu Frank Robinson

Frank teaches Latin at Paul VI High School in Haddonfield. Originally from Germany, he graduated from Bonn University and spent six years teaching in Japan, where he met his wife, Kelli. They have four daughters and moved to the United States in 2002. Since 2004, Frank has trained under Sifu Lou. His family has been involved in raising Seeing Eye puppies for several years, and they currently care for four dogs. In his leisure time, Frank enjoys playing guitar, kayaking, and cycling through the woods.

Sihing Nicolas Cook

Nicolas, dedicated to Wing Chun for seven years, finds fulfillment in his family and training. After receiving boxing lessons from his father, he met his wife, Mary Cook, at the school. They plan to enroll their children in classes in the future. Nicolas aims to become a Sifu and open his own school, setting a high standard and serving as a role model for his peers.

Janice Skeens

Janice, a Tai Chi instructor, has trained under Sifu Lou since 2010, focusing on Tai Chi, Chi Kung, and Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu. She is one of the dedicated instructors at Sifu Lou’s Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu & Tai Chi Center.

Outside of her role as an instructor, Janice is a mother of three children and cares for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, chickens, and horses. She has embraced a holistic lifestyle for herself, her children, and her animals, emphasizing the harmony of natural living. Janice finds practicing Tai Chi to be a beautiful expression of this philosophy.

Sihing Mark Wilson

Mark joined the school 15 years ago after retiring from law enforcement and is now progressing from a brown sash to a black sash. A Vietnam-era U.S. Army veteran, he has extensive teaching experience, including classes at Rutgers University, the New Jersey DOT, and as a lead instructor for Traffic Science at the Camden County Police Academy. He enrolled his grandsons in Wing Chun Kung Fu to boost their confidence, coordination, and fitness.

Sihing Michael Sharp

Michael, aged 47, started his martial arts journey 11 years ago. Initially, he focused on TaeKwonDo for seven years before transitioning to Traditional Wing Chun and Tai Chi, which he has practiced for over four years. Outside of martial arts, Michael is passionate about off-road motorcycle racing, where he has achieved multiple class championships in the East Coast Enduro Association. He attributes his recent racing successes to his disciplined martial arts training.

Sifu Lou is a great instructor who takes the time to teach you the traditional true art and the history behind it. He teaches Wing Chun techniques and forms along with explaining the “why” behind each. The classes are not only an enjoyable workout that improve your strength, agility and flexibility, but they also incorporates breathing and mindful exercises that are appreciated and very beneficial.
You can always look forward to a fun and functional class that teaches you important self-defense skills.
Thank you Sifu!

When you study martial arts, you get the best of both worlds. You are developing the body and the mind. With Wing Chun, there is plenty of both. In my many years of training experience, I have not had many instructors who demonstrated the patience and willingness to teach like Sifu Lou does. You are not only shown how to do an movement/application, it is explained to why you are doing it. In addition, the people in the classes are very friendly and willing to help a newbie. I highly recommend training with Sifu Lou.

I have been practicing Tai Chi with Sifu Lou for several months. Although I have never enjoyed exercising in any way, I find the hour spent with Sifu just flies by! Sifu Lou has a great sense of humor and makes every class an entertaining experience. He also has an excellent understanding of the physiology of the body and takes the time to explain why you are making the moves. I have derived numerous physical and mental benefits from practicing Tai Chi with Sifu Lou and can highly recommend his Center without any reservations whatsoever.

Our family takes time to look for the best teachers in all areas for our children (Martial arts, music, swimming, etc.). I am very grateful to have found Sifu Lou for our children. Our children have been studying under him for nearly 1 and a half years. We tried different places before we found him. In my opinion, not only do they get the personal attention from Sifu Lou to learn Wing Chun Kung Fu but they get the teaching to grow up as responsible people, build good character and learn to be team players. Sifu Lou has a strong root learning from the Master of the arts. I highly recommend Sifu's classes to all parents who want to find an outstanding teacher for Kung Fu.

The Tai Chi class is excellent! I have been in the class for 18 months and my flexibility and balance have increased significantly. I’m certainly not the youngest person in the class, but I’m not the oldest.
This is a safe place to work and grow at your own pace.
