When you study martial arts, you get the best of both worlds. You are developing the body and the mind. With Wing Chun, there is plenty of both. In my many years of training experience, I have not had many instructors who demonstrated the patience and willingness to teach like Sifu Lou does. You are not only shown how to do an movement/application, it is explained to why you are doing it. In addition, the people in the classes are very friendly and willing to help a newbie. I highly recommend training with Sifu Lou.

Our family takes time to look for the best teachers in all areas for our children (Martial arts, music, swimming, etc.). I am very grateful to have found Sifu Lou for our children. Our children have been studying under him for nearly 1 and a half years. We tried different places before we found him. In my opinion, not only do they get the personal attention from Sifu Lou to learn Wing Chun Kung Fu but they get the teaching to grow up as responsible people, build good character and learn to be team players. Sifu Lou has a strong root learning from the Master of the arts. I highly recommend Sifu’s classes to all parents who want to find an outstanding teacher for Kung Fu.

Sifu Lou is a great instructor who takes the time to teach you the traditional true art and the history behind it. He teaches Wing Chun techniques and forms along with explaining the “why” behind each. The classes are not only an enjoyable workout that improve your strength, agility and flexibility, but they also incorporates breathing and mindful exercises that are appreciated and very beneficial.
You can always look forward to a fun and functional class that teaches you important self-defense skills.
Thank you Sifu!

I have been practicing Tai Chi with Sifu Lou for several months. Although I have never enjoyed exercising in any way, I find the hour spent with Sifu just flies by! Sifu Lou has a great sense of humor and makes every class an entertaining experience. He also has an excellent understanding of the physiology of the body and takes the time to explain why you are making the moves. I have derived numerous physical and mental benefits from practicing Tai Chi with Sifu Lou and can highly recommend his Center without any reservations whatsoever.

The Tai Chi class is excellent! I have been in the class for 18 months and my flexibility and balance have increased significantly. I’m certainly not the youngest person in the class, but I’m not the oldest.
This is a safe place to work and grow at your own pace.
Program & Pricing FAQs

Absolutely! Martial arts is designed to help children of all fitness levels improve their strength, coordination, and confidence over time. No prior athletic ability is required—just a willingness to learn and try their best.
Are these martial arts classes fun?
Yes! Classes are structured to be engaging, energetic, and interactive. We use games, challenges, and age-appropriate drills to keep kids motivated while learning valuable skills.

Many children can begin martial arts as early as age 4 or 5. At this age, they start developing focus, balance, and listening skills that are foundational for martial arts training.
Can martial arts cause injury?
As with any physical activity, there’s a small risk of injury, but safety is our top priority. Classes are supervised by trained instructors, and techniques are taught in a controlled environment with proper protective gear and safety protocols.
